Donating to the Archives

"The Archives and Special Collections, University of Nebraska--Lincoln Libraries seeks to preserve materials that are historically significant and have enduring value."  For a full list of items that can be donated to the Archives, please see the "Collection Scope" section of their website.

For organizations, items such as minutes, reports, policy manuals, histories, newsletters, photographs, proclaimations, and press releases can be donated. Contact the Archives and Special Collections staff for more information.

Information on committees, organizations, professors, and classes can be included in the collection. If your items have significance to the GLBT community, please be sure to inform the Archives staff that it should be added to any finding guides or lists they have collected on GLBT issues. The Archives staff can work with you to figure out what sort of collection or finding guides are needed.
